Nearly one in four adult Canadians report some hearing loss. In many cases, hearing loss happens gradually and goes unnoticed. Hearing loss can make it difficult to communicate with family and friends, and can lead to withdrawal and feelings of isolation.
Join us for this FREE videoconference on Wednesday, February 21 from 9:30 am to 12:00 PM at the Western Quebec School Board (Council Chambers), 15, rue Katimavik, Gatineau (Aylmer sector).
Presenter, Lorna Dowson, M.Sc., Clinical Audiologist at St. Mary’s Hospital in Montreal will provide information about hearing loss and its challenges, as well as how awareness can help you and your family members deal with age-related hearing loss.
Resources will be shared and refreshments will be served.
