Promoting health and social services careers
With financial support from McGill University, through the Training and Retention of Health Professionals Project, Connexions Resource Centre is working to attract and retain bilingual health professionals to the Outaouais. The overall goal is to support access to health and social services in English by increasing the number of bilingual health professionals working in the region.
Our activities have included promoting careers in health and social services in local English high schools, providing information and developing tools on priority job positions, and supporting students through the McGill Bursary Program. To read more about our project, please see our pamphlet.
