As you can see from the pictures, our kiddies loved playing with the large and fluffy cotton snowballs. They got to use their senses to discover and explore the snowballs through feel and touch, and to use their imagination and creative thinking to come up with games that would incorporate the snowballs. Even our youngest tots took part in filling and dumping the large cotton balls with their blue cups.
The kids also had a chance to create their very own own red and green holiday crown! With help from Heritage’s ECCE students, the kiddies cut strips of construction paper and pasted these on their crown. They then decorated their crown by colouring with markers or pencils and added stickers and other decorations. Once done, they taped their crown into shape and popped it onto their heads! :)
A thank you to our kids and parents for helping us out with a morning full of fun activities! We all had an awesome time!!
We would also like to thank our two ECCE students for organizing such a creative and imaginative craft!
And of course a huge thanks to Lori, our playgroup facilitator, for making the morning such fun, filled with creative games.
As this was our last Itsy Bitsy Toys Playgroup for the 2017, make sure to check back to learn more about our our upcoming playgroup on Thursday, January 11, 2018!
Have an amazing holiday with friends and family- and we’ll see you in the new year!!
