Last month, we had the pleasure of hosting a very special visitor at our office โ Amy Bilodeau, the dynamic Youth Program Coordinator from CHSSN Community Health and Social Services Network, the province-wide network supporting English-speaking communities like ours here in Quebec.
CHSSN plays a vital role in supporting Quebec’s English-speaking communities, ensuring they have equitable access to health and social services in English. Their work, centered on knowledge sharing and empowerment, is crucial to our mission.
Nat Filiou, our Director of Communications and Operations; MaCayla Nesbitt-Batten, our Mental Health Program Coordinator; and Danielle Lanyi, our Executive Director, brought Amy up to speed on our initiatives to engage with youth through our Peer Support program in Outouais High Schools and through our Youth Mental Health Influencer Intern programโtwo innovative and exciting programs targeting youth mental health that are made possible by CHSSN funding. We had so many great things to talk about!
As we continue these conversations and programs, keep an eye on our feed for inspiring content from our Youth Mental Health Influencers, who are making a difference one post at a time.
We’re grateful for CHSSNโs support as we continue to develop services that uplift our community’s wellbeing!
