Coffee Chat for Caregivers
October 4 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Free
Connexion’s Caregivers Group works to address the stresses of caregiving by focusing on the caregiver’s well-being. This activity gives caregivers support for the emotional and physical demands of caring for a senior relative or friend.
We understand that care giving, even when given with love can be stressful.
Join us in-person on Wednesdays, September 20, October 4 & 18, November 1 & 15 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for our caregiver support group. Participants come together to gain support and friendship with others, exchange information, share common experiences and practical tips, access information, and learn coping ideas.
Also addressed, are needs to learn about specific topics related to immediate, short, and long-term planning. You are welcome to join other caregivers who just like you, need to take a break with a goal towards taking care of themselves.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a free support group for caregivers of a senior.
Location: Centre d’action bénévole Accès, 67 Principale St., Gatineau (Aylmer).
Limited spots available! To register for this series, please complete the RSVP section below.
