Coffee Chat for Caregivers
Connexion’s Caregivers Group works to address the stresses of caregiving by focusing on the caregiver’s well-being. This activity gives caregivers support for the emotional and physical demands of caring for a senior relative or friend.
We understand that care giving, even when given with love can be stressful. Participants come together to gain support and friendship with others, exchange information, share common experiences and practical tips, access information, and learn coping ideas.
Also addressed, are needs to learn about specific topics related to immediate, short, and long-term planning. You are welcome to join other caregivers who just like you, need to take a break with a goal towards taking care of themselves.
Join us in-person every Tuesday evening from January 17 to March 21 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Connexions Resource Centre main office (67 rue du Couvent, Gatineau, Aylmer sector).
