Join us in-person Saturday, March 11 from 10 am to 4 pm for a spoken word poetry and songwriting workshop that will lead participants in telling their own stories. We will look at universal themes such as identity, loss, love, fear, happiness, and surprise.
Each participant will choose their own theme and be guided through various writing exercises. No prior experience needed.
This workshop designed for individuals over the age of 16 living in the Outaouais.
With special guest, Nadine Neema, Multi-disciplinary artist and workshop facilitator, author, recording & performing artist, Quebec Writer’s Federation.
Location: Aylmer Food Bank, 67 rue du Couvent, Gatineau, (Aylmer Sector).
