SUMMARY:Preparing the Path for Mentoring | Virtual
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our introductory workshop about our new mentorship program at Connexions. This is open to anyone who is a current or former caregiver or who may be interested in being a mentor. \nThe program consists of pairing mentors who will accompany mentees on a volunteer basis in achieving the mentees personal development goals as a caregiver. \nBeing a mentor is free! You will be given a participation guide\, and the Connexions team will be on hand to support you. \nThis workshop will cover the following areas:\n– The background (the why) of the program\n– Introduction to and intentions of the mentorship program\n– Assessment of learning needs and opportunities for mentors\n– Introduction to mentorship \nPlease note: This workshop will be offered in English.
