Join us virtually on Thursday, November 7 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm to learn how screen time is linked to youth mental health and what can you do to support your child and protect them.
What will be covered:
- Understanding the societal shift towards over-protection of children in the real world and under-protection in the online world.
- The impact of excessive use of cell phones and social media on current generation of youth.
- How can we work together to make meaningful changes to protect youth mental health, including therapeutic strategies you can use as a parent.
- What are some of the common scenarios faced by parents regarding screens, and guidance about how to intervene (For example: creating better sleep routines, protecting family time and teaching responsible use of social media).
