On Friday, November 1, the tour of Consultations with the English-speaking population, led by the Parliamentary Assistant to the Premier for Relations with English-speaking Quebecers, Christopher Skeete, made a stop in Gatineau (Aylmer sector).
Connexions was especially pleased to welcome Christopher Skeete and a number of community organizations to discuss the needs and concerns of the English-speaking population in the Outaouais and Abitibi-Témiscamingue regions.
“I appreciated the opportunity to share our regional concerns with Mr. Skeete and how we can improve relations with the Québec government,” said Danielle Lanyi, Executive Director at Connexions. “It was impressive to see so many key stakeholders from the English-speaking community from both the Outaouais and Abitibi-Témiscamingue regions who also shared their realities and concerns. I am looking forward to the outcome of these consultations so that we can better serve our communities.”
