Psychologue
Psychologists work to help people solve personal problems and adapt to life changes. They use different means of intervention – such as interviewing or psychometric testing – according to their client’s needs and goals. They seek to understand the psychological challenges a patient encounters, and to promote well-being in mental health. Psychologists may work in diverse settings such as mental health clinics or schools and are found in all types of institutions in the health and social services network. They may also work in university-level research or teaching.
