Shoutout to Pontiac High School Peer Support Group!
At Connexions, we’re all about uplifting and empowering our youth, and we’re incredibly thankful for the collaborations that make this possible.
Today, we want to highlight our bi-monthly Peer Support Groups at Pontiac High School, brilliantly led by our Community Health and Wellness Facilitator, Krish Sundaram!
These gatherings are more than just meetings; they symbolize our dedication to fostering mental health and well-being among the youth of our community. We’re grateful for the support of PHS and the Western Quebec School Board in this journey.
Our sessions, from creating stress balls to practicing mindfulness exercises, are designed to forge a nurturing space for our youth to connect, share, and thrive.
Stay tuned for what we have in store for PHS students in the upcoming weeks. Help us spread the word and make our next Peer Support Group session a fantastic experience!
Connexions Resource Centre promotes the health, social wellbeing and vitality of the English-speaking community through empowerment, participation and collaboration within the Outaouais.
