We had a great evening last Thursday, October 18, meeting with students and parents during the Western Quebec School Board’s (WQSB) Annual Career Information Night at Philemon Wright High School.
We had the opportunity to talk to students about the upcoming Bursary Program for those studying in a Vocational Training Centre, as well as the different educational and career pathways in the health and social services sector.
We also shared information about Careers in Law from Éducaloi, and pointed students and parents to the Éducaloi Website and the Éducaloi Youth Zone so they could learn more about their rights and Quebec law.
Throughout the evening, we had a chance to meet some of the teachers and reps of the visiting universities, colleges and trades schools, including the Western Quebec Career Centre, Cégep Heritage College, Cégep de l’Outaouais, Bishop’s University, John Abbott College, uOttawa, Carleton University, etc.
